Content Rules

Last updated Monday 28 September

VELURA is a platform for adult companionship — company, conversation, an evening out. These rules say what may be published on it: in profiles, photos, services, messages and reviews. They are part of the Terms of Use and apply to everyone.

1. The principles

  • Adults only: every person involved is 18 or older.
  • Your own profile, by your own choice: nobody advertises on behalf of someone else, and nobody is pressured into it.
  • Companionship, not sexual services: nothing on VELURA offers, prices or asks for sex.
  • Honest and respectful: what is published is true, and it treats other people with respect.

2. Profiles and services

  • Describe yourself and your companionship services truthfully. Your age, location and languages must be accurate.
  • Services and prices are for your time and company. Do not offer, describe, price or hint at sexual acts, including through euphemisms, codes or emojis.
  • Do not include other people's personal details, or links to other sites that break these rules.
  • Use the WhatsApp field for your number; do not put contact details elsewhere in your profile.

3. Photos

  • Every photo must show you, be recent, and be yours to publish.
  • No nudity and no sexually explicit images. Tasteful photos — portraits, evening wear, swimwear in a natural setting — are fine; genitals, exposed breasts or sexual poses are not.
  • No images of other people who have not agreed to appear, and never of anyone who is, or looks, under 18.
  • No images that are heavily edited to misrepresent how you look, and no stock or AI-generated images presented as you.

4. Never allowed

The following are removed immediately, the account is closed, and we report them to the authorities where the law requires:

  • Anything involving, or appearing to involve, a minor.
  • Trafficking, coercion, exploitation, or anyone advertising or managing a profile for someone else.
  • Offers of sexual services in exchange for payment.
  • Content that is illegal, including threats, incitement to violence or hatred, and intimate images shared without consent.
  • Fraud, including fake profiles and requests for advance payment.

5. Reviews and messages

  • Write about your own experience of the appointment: punctuality, conversation, whether the companion was as pictured.
  • No sexual descriptions, no ratings of intimate acts, and nothing that suggests sexual services were offered or provided.
  • No personal details about the companion — real name, address, anything they have not published themselves.
  • No threats, insults or attempts to pressure a companion, including by threatening a bad review.
  • Messages sent with a booking request, or in a booking's conversation, follow the same rules.

6. Reporting content

If you see something that breaks these rules or the law, write to appvelura@gmail.com with the address of the page and what is wrong with it. Tell us who you are unless your report concerns a child, where you may stay anonymous. We review every report and let you know what we decided.

7. What we do

Depending on how serious a breach is, we may ask for a change, remove the content, hide the profile, or suspend or close the account. Repeated breaches lead to closure. We tell the person affected what we did and why, and they can contest the decision by replying to us; see the Terms of Use.
